Sleepy

Don’t think I’ve worked this hard in a long time and the funny thing is, I might not see a dime from any of it. Sheesh. How exotic the Hollywood biz really is.
I pitched House of Wax Monday and I think they hated it. They told Nicole later that I pitched exactly what they told me they didn’t want. Oh well.
Wednesday I met with the guys from Red Entertainment to do what was perhaps the most interesting pitch of my life for the simple reason that I don’t speak Japanese. I pitched G9 which is based on an in development animated series slash video game. Visually it is stunning and I think I could certainly write it but there’s little doubt it would have a hefty budget based on what they have. Anyway, speaking broken English and throwing in an Oki mundi from time to time, I blew them away. Even Boesky was impressed and he’s never impressed with this stupid business.
That night we hit another of Maggie’s comedy shows and again she was the stand out. Later that evening we ended up at Pinot and drank until we were silly. Then, of course, the plethora of actors present started getting liberal so my inner Republican came out and started stomping. Think I made some enemies. Screw’em. If they are gonna pursue their acting careers through my tax-dollar-paid-for unemployment then I got a right to bitch about it.
This weekend will be Friday with the Loreys and Saturday with the Lussiers.
