It’s couples night in Calabasas. We’re meeting up with Dean and Elizabeth and Patrick and Laura at a fish joint at the Commons. They haven’t met each other but they live five minutes from each other and Mel and I are stick stuck in the freaking city. Wondering if Patrick and Laura will bring Devin. He’s a computer superchild at 14 I think. 14 going on 34.

If you have never experienced the true wonder that is the pedicure then you, my big burly friends, are missing out. Mel and I just spent the afternoon being poked, prodded and pampered at a spa at the Grove. My feet are like little fluffy clouds.
Went out with the Loreys last night.

Tonight we’re going to see Nora at the Greek with the Loreys. If you know Nora’s work then you know we’re gonna be rockin’. Okay, well, sitting and tapping our feet.

Met Geoff Steir and Chris Carlise today at Valhalla to discuss a direction and tone for Magdelena. Chris is the creative guy at Top Cow. Pretty cool guys. We talked of making the flick darker and even balls to the walls with a rated R. I want scary and dark and I think they dig that. I’m gonna write up some form of outline and see where the story takes me. Very excited about this one.

This afternoon I sent a rough draft of Suicide Mission to Lori at Tiger Hill. That the war-type video game I’ve been playing with for them. I’ve set my goals pretty high and it’s gonna make this a tough one to work through. I like it but it’s a bit overwhelming when you consider it’s all on spec.

Friday Morning Patrick and I met with Arrow-in-the-Head and Jo Blo at a Starbucks down from the Cursed editing room. They run a horror movie website and were down from the Canada. It was good.
That night Mel and I met Elizabeth at the Commons in Calabasas for drinks and dinning. Dean’s in Hawaii with Damon and Don.
Went back Saturday night to meet Natalie and catch a flick.
