Well, my work is done. They have an option to bring me back in to write more against what I have coming if the flick gets a greenlight or they can make the movie or they can replace me with another writer. The later seems to be the norm so we’ll see what happens.
But whatever happens, I gotta say, working with Patrick was a pleasure.
Hitting a new Korean joint with the Loreys tonight.
Hensleigh and I met for another lunch and mapped out a new spin on Riddle. I’ll start the new pages after I send Scarecrow to Revolution. Don’t suppose there’s any rush. Constantin got a free year out of me already.
Jonathan liked the pages I sent way back when, which took us through the midpoint of the movie…so we spent lunch discussing where to go from there. We didn’t finish. Sitting down again in a couple of days.
He dropped the Christian Slater Flick and has taken over the lead on “The Punisher”. He mentioned the guy from the BMW shorts for lead.
Well, I should have called Patrick over the weekend to inform him that I’d sent the latest draft. I just called. He’s spoiled me with his speedy replies. Since I hadn’t called, he hadn’t checked his email. He’s gonna buzz through it and get back to me.
Sent the newest Pass to Patrick just now.
Spoke with Hensleigh about “Riddle Me This”. I’d sent him a chunk of pages several months ago and I suppose he’s been swamped. We’re grabbing lunch to discuss next Monday.
