Mel and I are going to Disney tomorrow to get away from all the Jason X worry.

I have been doing a bunch of interviews. Nothing to write home to momma about…mostly internet stuff. But it’s still fun. I’m sure by the second flick I will have lost all interest in media promotion. But for now and since it’s been such a long freaking road, it’s sort of nice to be the center of attention.

Sent more pages to Hensleigh. Would be great to get a draft of “Riddle” at least readable in case Jason creates some hype.

It’s April! No foolin! “Jason X” comes out this month. I’ll either be a hero or a friggin looser for life. We’ll see. Look, Ma, I’m writin movies for a living! It’s been in the can for, what? Two years? Well we wrapped two years ago. The whole freakin story is on the net so who knows what will happen. The movie is a huge Kazaa download. Why spend ten bucks when a fast internet connection can have it for free? Looks like we’re up against Angelina Jolie. She’s awful perty. But she’s not the worry. The worry is “Scorpion King”. Dwain “The Rock’s” new action flick. The Rock is gonna still be strong the second weekend and will probably kick our tails. I think you can bet on that. And the following week “Spiderman” unleashes and will squash us into complete nothingness. We got one shot and that’s to have a decent weekend. Jimmy’s thinking 20 million. BAH, I’f that happens I’ll join a monk’s order and spend the rest of my years learning self oral. I’d love to see 10. Not great but it won’t be considered a flop.

Spent an hour on the phone with Riesner. He misses us. Mel and I are gonna see him this weekend.
