DVD came out today. No clue how well it will do. I’m guessing decent. Those who didn’t see it in the theatre might check it out at home. I’m supposed to get a couple of free discs but I’ve yet to see them.

Jason X DVD commentary
The DVD comes out next week. Jimmy, Noel and myself did a commentary track. It was supposed to be the three of us together but Jimmy didn’t want to do it with Noel so Noel came in seperate.
I hear we myth hacks make some extra cash on the DVD sales and rentals. That might be fun. I look forward to unexpected checks in the mail.

The Scarecrow begins
Derek called to say that Revolution was signing off on the outline and that I could begin writing the first draft. I will start today.
I’ve a meeting with Nicole to discuss a plan for the future and I’ll swing by Frankel’s office to sign another set of papers for Scarecrow.
Dean read Vamp Camp and had some notes. I made a pass and I’ll give it a fresh read in the morning and probably send it to Chuck tomorrow.
No word from Revolution yet so I’m gonna work on a spec I’m calling “Mankind”. It’s a sci-fi time travel story.

Fatal and Vamp Camp
I went in this morning to pitch Fatal Frame to John Fox’s boss, Mark Haimes. Something odd happened. He told me right there that it wasn’t the pitch he was looking for. That’s a first. I actually appreciate that. I’d rather him shoot me straight rather than my sit around waiting to hear back, burning up hope.
Spent the rest of the day polishing Vamp Camp. I met with Chuck Simon over the weekend and he asked if I had any old scripts gathering dust. I told him about Vamp Camp which was the second script I wrote for money. It was based on Dean Lorey’s idea about a cheerleading camp run by vampires. Will work on it a little more tomorrow and send it over to Dean for his thoughts.
