I went to my lawyers office to sign contracts. I’m not going to make huge money on this gig but we all gotta start somewhere. I’ve said that before it seems. Seems I’m always making lower money because we all gotta start someone. I’d like to think I’ve started now. Is it not time to get paid what I’m worth? Have I not earned it?
I think they liked my idea…matter of fact I, I believe it when they say it was the best they heard but I also think my price tag played a huge part in my getting the job.
I sent over the outline today. Not sure when I’ll hear back. The outline isn’t one of the official steps which means I’m not getting paid for it but nearly all studios ask for outlines from newish writers. I spoke with Nicole and she said to do it this time but if they want it rewritten then I should let her know.

Lazar at ICM sent over an outline Steven Spielburg wrote called “Soul Jumpers”. Interesting but not really sparking to it.

Mel and I are going to Disney with Dean and Elizabeth and their kids.

After I hung up, Fox called back and I…said nothing. I played ball. I sucked up. I was a good little monkey with a keyboard. Lied and said we got disconnected. I gave him the pitch. He seemed to like it, said he’d pass it on to his boss. I’ll probably never hear from him again.
I barely made my Revolution meeting which didn’t matter because I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes and feel alseep on a very comfy couch. We went in to hear Todd Garner’s (Head of Revolution’s) notes. It was odd. All of the producers kept telling me not to argue or question his notes. They told me to nod and say yes and we’d deal with the notes later. The notes were…interesting. This is a thriller that disguises itself as a horror. Sort of an interesting concept I thought. I don’t know. The notes were odd but I’ll deal with them.
Tonight we did the drunken bowling. Was a hoot. I expect to be well hung tomorrow.

What in the freaking world is going on?! I’ve been on hold for ten minutes! I have to go! I don’t have time for this! I have a job and this guy is jerking me around. I spoke with Dean Lorey who knows John from anther gig and said John was always very cool. So what’s the deal? How long should I stay on hold?! I’m hanging up. click.
